Utrecht, The Netherlands, April 22, 2020
Japplis, a company based in The Netherlands, has released JLearnIt, a thematic dictionary that helps you learn new languages for free.
The development of JLearnIt started in 1998 and up to now has been shareware that would cost 15 Euros. JLearnIt is now completely free, no ads, and no registration needed.
Even though many more improvements are planned for this software, with the increased number of children learning at home and unemployed people who may want to use this time to learn, releasing it now for free will certainly benefit them.
JLearnIt has 3 main features:
The languages available are as follows: English, French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Italian, Hebrew, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Hungarian, Russian, Latin and Czech. It also contains tables other that languages including: countries with capital, morse code, irregular verbs, the various United States, and French departments.
JLearnIt is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
Also released with 6.0 is an improved website https://www.jlearnit.com/dictionary/ where users can easily search in the dictionaries online for free.
This website is for use on both desktop and mobile devices.
Version 6.0 contains further improvements. The Windows installation doesn't require Java to be installed on your computer anymore. The website has been redesigned for easier navigation and better readability.
